As a current first year student of Radiographic Technology, I find this pocket guide essential. The first year is comprised of memorizing tons of concepts and positions so, as the year progresses, some of the positions discussed in the beginning get a little fuzzy. I know that there are iPhone and Android apps that serve a similar purpose, but most hospital environments frown on students glancing at their phones or iPods, as it is considered unprofessional. Plus, nothing beats a quick paper reference that you are able to jot down notes about technique (kVp, mAs, SID, etc). A perfect companion to Merrill's Atlas of Radiologic Anatomy.

This is incredibly helpful. Lost all textbooks in Katrina and the 3 volume set was too expensive to replace, but this is great for the things that don't come up too frequently and you can't remember exact angles or positions.
