Zollinger's is an amazing tome of standard operations, and is great for an aspiring surgeon, like myself, to learn about cases before scrubbing into them. HOWEVER, the kindle edition of this book, while portable and easy to read, has atrociously low resolution images and makes zooming in on a particularly aspect of a drawing a pain to the eyes. It is a huge detractor to the experience, and makes having an ebook version a waste, because having the advantage of high resolution screens and color tablets is lost on the low resolution sub par "photocopy" quality of the images in this book.
In summary: Great book, but steer clear of the Kindle edition and go for the hardcopy.
