Needed these for my clinical rotation. We were allowed to either use preprinted med cards or we had to write our own. Unfortunately these cards never had all of the meds I needed for my patient. It's also difficult to find your med without removing some of the cards from the box. If your like me and want to keep your cards in order .....then the fumbling through the box gets old fast! The Davis Drug Guide (the newest edition) comes with a cd that has a program to print out med cards. I recommend spending the extra $25 if your are getting these med cards for the same reason I did. The book also comes with an access code that allows you to use the drug reference online. Hope this helps.

Use the cards for nursing school. THEY ARE WONDERFUL!! Contains pretty much everything you need to know about the drug. Studied these cards and got a "B" in Pharm. Would have got an "A" if I knew about these cards at the beginning of the semester.

I had no idea how to study for my exams. But these cards saved my life.
I hear that a lot of people dont know how to use these cards. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to start by studying the classification cards first (ie; aminoglycosides, antihypertensives, bronchodilators, etc) because this makes it much easier. Then use the individual drug cards to test yourself.

GOOD LUCK FUTURE NURSES!!!! :-)
