I downloaded this book for my niece, and she loved it..The illustrations are cute, bright and colorful...After reading this funny story that rhymes and shows the importance of brushing teeth, you may never have a problem again..The story is about a little boy named "Luke", who just refuses to brush his teeth no matter how hard is Mom tries..She explains to him about all the candy he eats and how the "sugar bugs" or "cavities" will rot his teeth.....This is where it becomes funny and entertaining....

Luke finally goes to sleep..He dreams that his teeth are all sad and they decided to get out and runaway....These "cute teeth" running away looking for a new mouth to live in, had my niece and I rolling on the floor and laughing...This is where it becomes educational because your child follows their journey as they meet different animals and try to fit in their mouths...The animals explain why the little teeth won't work for their type of mouths....My niece's favorite scene is when the "teeth all put themselves in little bubbles" to go underwater and find a home in an "octopus's mouth" but get stuck instead in his suctioned cup tentacles....
Will Luke ever get his teeth back and learn how important it is to take good care of them, before they will find a new mouth that cares.....

Nothing scary at all in this book, just pure fun and a lesson learned....

TOP 500 REVIEWER
The children's books that I've reviewed are sometimes for pure entertainment, but many of the ones that I've reviewed lately tell a good story while teaching a lesson. In the last month, I've read stories that taught personal hygiene, proper eating habits, and how to cooperate with others, for example. "The Teeth That Looked for a New Mouth" is, as the title implies, about taking care of one's teeth. Young Luke steadfastly refused to brush his teeth, with the result that his teeth were yellowing and his breath smelled horrible. (And yes, he had a very indulgent mom - mine would have crammed my toothbrush down my throat!) But a bad dream one night forced Luke to reconsider his aversion to brushing his teeth. If he changed his ways, both his mom and his teeth would be very happy.

It's a cute story with nice rhyming text as Luke's teeth try to persuade Luke's friends to take them, and the colorful illustrations complement the story very well. I think kids will get the message.
