This book is so dry that deserts across the world look at it in envy and say to themselves "why not me?"; the surface of Mars considers it competition. After each study session, my already cracked, winter-beaten hands (what in God's name is a polar vortex and why won't it stop picking on us?), against all odds, end up even dryer and ash-ier through what I can only assume is some unholy union of witchcraft and osmosis. Drug companies should look to this book for inspiration in creating a drug to combat hyperhidrosis. Had to buy this book for class (obviously; in terms of leisure activities learning the in's and out's of family health nursing ranks pretty low) and the only pro is the fact that, by it being in my possession, I'm not kicked outta class everyday for not having it.
This is in no way a critique of the author (could just be the subject matter) as I don't know her and have no grudge against her; she never shot my parents in a dark alleyway when I was a child, inspiring me to fight crime using my crafty gadgets, quick wits, and the fear associated with some nocturnal creature (i'd call myself... raccoon-man. don't wanna infringe on any copyrights). I gotta blame topic as it is relatively new and it's never easy teaching and illustrating demographics, theories, ideas, etc. so she gets a pass.

The textbook has a lot of good information, but it goes on forever with stats. They could have made a table of all their stats, and put that in an appendix. But otherwise it is a decent textbook.
