This is a complete and exceptional resource for large or small piggie operations. Well worth the money for the information provided.
Farmers new to raising pigs or only having a couple to raise may wish a more basic text as starters. Small bits of the information found in other texts will be found here but in extensive depth. I am a "pig herdsman" of six years, starting with 8 pigs, getting up to 150 and now choosing to have around 60. I relied on 4 different books up until finding this book. This book will help you (and your veterinarian) in preventing, diagnosing and treating ailments in your 2-piggie or larger herd.

Shorter than previous version, lacking some basic information. Summarized too much and not much new data added - references old
