This book provides the dairy practitioner with dairy specific information at a reasonable price. No need to flip through a more expensive book containing mostly equine material. The authors are well-respected in their fields. This book is good for veterinary students and experienced practitioners alike.By Holstein doctor
This is one of those veterinary books that I would leave at home when I am on the road, but that I would be more apt to use on the road. It contains great information, but I don't use it every day. Then again, I don't work with dairy cows daily. Thankfully, I own the Kindle version and have used it for both beef and dairy cattle information. Also, just the other day, I discovered that it has great step-by-step instructions for on-farm blood transfusions.By Dianne Johnson
