I have been using the pretest books to study for all of my shelf exams this past year. I just got the new edition of pretest surgery. I have to say the questions are good, but I found quite a few errors. I mean seriously? This is a brand new edition and I have found multiple errors or lack of images that were supposed to be there to answer questions: 388, 397, and 444. There where other questions that had problems as well. I expected a little better editing skills for a book from McGraw-Hill.

This book has a number or questions that have some element involving "the imaging study shown here." Well, this would be fine, except the image isn't in the book, so... yeah.
Also, the correct answers for a number of questions don't actually match up. For example, the answer quide will say answer B is correct, but if you read the description, it actually describes one of the other answer choices as the correct one.
Someone clearly did not do an adequate job proofreading this edition.
