If you are using this book for class and it requires online access to the mycounselinglab.com please use caution when ordering! I ordered this book from Amazon LLC and received a "new" copy that did NOT contain the lab access code. I had to contact customer service and have another one delivered only to find out that the second copy also did not include the code. I ended up having to buy the access code from the Pearson website and it costs an additional $40. You're better off buying the book with the lab code from your campus bookstore.

The text itself was fine, a decent enough text but It would only work for my Windows reader, I had bought it thinking I could use my android phone to study without dragging a heavy text around but I was disappointed. The other issue is that I use Linux as a primary desktop and while the cloud reader has worked for every other book I have gotten I had to use a Windows partition to do my work for the semester which was a pain to workaround.
