The new edition of Canine and Feline Cytology has many great new features. While some of the pictures are the same, the text has been expanded, histopathology pictures are now included alongside cytology pictures, and expanded sections in the Advanced Diagnostic Techniques on EM, special stains, flow cytometry, etc.. make this book a great investment. As a resident in Vet Clin Path, this will be a valuable book for board preparation. As a former small animal private practioner this book would be all that is needed (plus some) for practice and is easy to use!

I purchased this book specially for all the great up-to-date information from previous editions, and what a pay off! The chapter on Fecal Cytology is a must read for anyone practicing internal medicine! It truly will help you understand specifics much better. The chapters on cancers and treatments and advanced diagnostics is superior. Overall, this is a great work.
